Rebecca (Becky) Hayes is originally from Pasadena, CA. She and her family moved to Rancho Santa Fe when she was a teenager. She attended Santa Fe Christian High School and later the University of San Diego, where she received her B.A. in education, teaching credential in special education, and Character Education Certificate. Becky has comprehensive training and experience teaching children with special needs. She has taught ESL, worked as a reading specialist, a behavior technician, and as a child advocate throughout San Diego City School District. Additionally, she has taught and supported in the private, public, charter, and home-school realms of education.
Since 2018 Becky has been an active participant supporting USD’s Leadership Mentor Program, guiding in areas such as networking, interpersonal skills and career development to better prepare undergraduate students for their professional lives. Since 2019 she has served as a Board Member for USD’s Character Advisory Board providing input on community impact and educational activities. In 2021, Becky also completed the Special Education Law and Advocacy Series, which added to her wealth of knowledge to counsel children and their families. Becky owned and directed Mindful Mentoring from 2003-2011 before founding and establishing e3 Consulting in August 2011.
Becky is highly committed to finding progressive and innovative techniques to meet and address the learning differences of each individual child. Her vast knowledge of the San Diego schools allows her to expertly advise families with school placement and professional referrals within the community. In her free time, Becky can be found traveling to tropical destinations or taking alpine ski trips. She enjoys exercising, reading, cooking, gardening, and, above all, values time spent with loved ones.

Alison was born and raised in Orlando, Florida but has lived in San Diego since 2017. She attended the University of California, Irvine graduating magna cum laude earning a B.A. in International Studies focusing on International Business. While in college, she studied abroad at the UC Center in Paris where she developed a love for travel and macarons. After graduating, Alison moved to San Francisco and embarked on a 15-year career in marketing and advertising. While she spent over a decade developing nationwide campaigns and creative materials for public health, healthcare, and nonprofit companies, her true passion lies in inspiring youth through creativity. Alison is also a mental health advocate and has volunteered with many organizations in Oakland and throughout San Diego County. She is currently pursuing a certificate to teach Intentional Creativity to women and at-risk youth as a modality to heal from traumatic experiences. Alison is proud to transition her creative, solution-oriented skill set to be of service to e3 families.
When she is not working, Alison enjoys paddle boarding with her husband and their two dogs, painting, teaching water marbling and art classes, and practicing yoga and qigong.

Megan was born and raised in Massachusetts until she moved to North Carolina where she attended East Carolina University graduating in 2006 with a Managerial Accounting degree. Megan and her husband then relocated to San Diego. Megan worked at Sony for many years as a Staff Accountant before deciding to stay home with her young children. She decided to pursue an MBA at the University of Phoenix where she graduated in 2012. Shortly afterward, in 2013, she started her own accounting firm, Handy Bookkeeping & Accounting Services, assisting clients with their accounting, financial, and budgeting needs. Megan has been e3 Consulting’s sherpa since that time, overseeing all things financial. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her husband and their six active children who all play multiple sports and keep her on her toes.

SCHEDULING COORDINATOR
Jenn Stewart was born and raised in the San Francisco Bay Area and moved to San Diego in 2017. She received a BS in Aquatic Biology and a minor in Applied Psychology from UC Santa Barbara, and received a Single Subject Teaching Credential from Dominican University of California.
Jenn taught 6th and 7th-grade science for almost a decade in the Bay Area, as well as 5th-grade marine science enrichment. During that time, she held many different roles, including science fair coordinator, middle school literacy coach, middle school science department chair, and lead teacher on the instructional and site leadership teams. After moving to San Diego, Jenn transitioned from teaching to a new role doing administrative support, marketing, and UX/UI design projects.
When she is not working, Jenn loves painting, designing, reading, watching movies, going to Disneyland, and spending time with her husband and three cats. Jenn is so excited to be part of the e3 team and looks forward to helping e3 families with all of their scheduling needs.

NEW FAMILY ENGAGEMENT LEAD/ACADEMIC SPECIALIST
Nicole was born and raised in Huntington Beach, CA, but would head south to study human development and education at the University of California, San Diego. It was there that she began to explore her passion for people from different cultures and backgrounds. After graduating, Nicole had the opportunity to spend a number of years living abroad, working in various capacities and countries with students of all ages. Nicole taught math in a tiny village school in Swaziland, led Conversation Cafes for professionals in Vietnam for those who wanted to advance their careers, and mentored college students in Germany. The time abroad opened her eyes to the powerful potential education has to change lives. Between her first and second year abroad, Nicole spent a year privately tutoring middle and high school students in Orange County, specifically in math and the sciences. She was able to fine-tune her love of helping students understand the fun and "logic" in math and science, watching their confidence bloom while they began to problem solve independently.
Nicole considers herself blessed to be a part of the e3 team, where she is able to incorporate overall wellness into long-term relationships with her students. When she's not busy equipping students to succeed, she enjoys spending time at the beach with her husband and their puppy, playing in the garden, and enjoying time in the sunshine with friends and family.

NEW FAMILY OPERATIONS COORDINATOR / ACADEMIC SPECIALIST
Meghan Zuñiga was born and raised in San Jose, and has lived in San Diego since 2015. She attended Dominican University of CA, earning her BS in biology with a minor in chemistry as well as her Single Subject Teaching Credential. While obtaining her teaching credential, Meghan worked at the Bay Area Discovery Museum, embracing the inquiry-based learning approach. She also worked at Dominican University as a Director of a STEM-focused college prep program for local underrepresented middle and high school students. Meghan’s experience includes teaching 6th & 8th grade Science at a K-8 school, leading STEM enrichment electives for 4th-8th grade students, teaching summer school support classes for rising 5th graders, and assisting in the middle school English Language Development class.
Meghan’s favorite part about working at e3 is empowering her students with tools to advocate for themselves. She thrives on working with the same students year to year, and forming lasting relationships with her students and their families. When she is not working, Meghan looks forward to going on weekly hikes with family and friends, taking her two young children on adventures, and involving them in her love for projects such as gardening, crafting, and Lego building.

Chloe was born and raised in Pennsylvania. She attended the University of Scranton where she earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Middle Level Education then continued her education earning two single subject teaching credentials specializing in both Social Studies and English Language Arts. She has over seven years experience teaching middle school Social Studies and English Language Arts in an underprivileged area. She successfully supported her students' academic and social emotional needs. She found her favorite part of teaching this age group was her ability to truly connect with each student and build solid relationships. In 2020, she moved to San Diego exploring a career in the professional organizing space. Ultimately, she missed education, and returned to working with children. Chloe is a passionate educator dedicated to helping students achieve their full potential and is excited to join the e3 team. She feels her engaging teaching style and ability to connect with students will be an asset to e3. When not in the classroom, Chloe enjoys traveling, reading and spending time at the beach with her husband and their dog.

Alethea has a true passion for teaching and education and has dreamed of being a teacher for as long as she can remember. She’s happy to be living the dream as an Academic Specialist at e3. Alethea considers North County her home, moving here from the Bay Area 20 years ago. She grew up in Palo Alto, then attended the University of Colorado at Boulder where she received her BA in communication. After finishing college she garnered a wide range of work experience including in London, working in PR, Marketing and Sales. Eventually, she realized teaching was in her blood and went back to school to earn her degree from National University with a master's in education, as well as a California Multiple Subject CLAD teaching credential.
Alethea’s career as an educator includes a wide range of teaching experience with grade levels from Preschool to 8th Grade. She has taught in traditional school settings both in private and public schools, worked as a camp counselor and director, provided private in-home instruction, and served as the director of an academic learning center. Working in all of these different educational settings has taught her to fully appreciate the value of individualized education. She believes the most enjoyable part of being a teacher is building bonds with students and seeing the "a-ha" moments when a concept clicks and confidence builds. To relax and unwind, she treasures spending time with her family which includes her husband, two children, and their Goldendoodle. She loves hanging with friends, exercising, hiking, reading, shopping, and exploring new places.

Alex is a native of San Diego with a passion for education. Many people in his family work in education, instilling in him the value of academic pursuits. He graduated from Iowa State University with a Bachelor's in History in 2020, then graduated from Azusa Pacific University in 2022 with his Master's in Education and Single-Subject Teaching Credential.
Alex began his path as an educator at a young age. In high school, he was an after-school math tutor, providing free academic support for struggling students. Later, in college, Alex spent much of his free time assisting his friends with their essays. As a substitute teacher, he has seen a wide variety of students and has helped many of them overcome academic challenges and personal struggles.
He is eager to join the e3 team, where he can continue to share his love of learning with his new students. When he's not working, Alex loves to cook exciting meals and create unique recipes in his kitchen. He uses cooking as both a way to unwind and a creative outlet. Alex even gives cooking lessons to his friends and family because even when he’s not teaching, he’s still teaching.

Alison is originally from Atlanta, Georgia, and she remains a loyal Braves and Falcons fan. She is from a family of educators who emphasized the importance of education from an early age and knew she was destined to become a teacher. She grew up in Irvine, CA before venturing back to her Southern roots to attend college at The University of Alabama earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education and holds a CA Teaching Certificate. After several years of teaching, she completed her graduate degree and obtained a Master's in Early Childhood Education.
Alison is a highly experienced educator who has been teaching for over 25 years. She has taught in several private schools in Las Vegas, La Jolla, and Encinitas. Her most recent time has been at The Rhoades School, where she began in 1998. During that time, she has worn many hats including 8th-grade homeroom teacher, kindergarten through 2nd-grade science teacher, on-site substitute teacher, summer school coordinator, 1st-grade teacher, and finally 3rd-grade teacher.
She is eager to join the e3 team where she can share her passion for education in a one-on-one setting. She feels teaching is the most invigorating and rewarding career she could have picked. When not in the classroom, she enjoys spending quality time with friends and family, traveling, music, exploring nature, greyhound adoption, beach clean-up, college football, and sports.
Andrea Murphy

Andrea is a California native and grew up in the suburbs of Los Angeles. She has always known she would grow up to work with children. As a young girl, she would assist her mother in her Special Education classroom and went on to teach Preschool and Kindergarten for many years prior to beginning her college studies. She attended California State in Los Angeles and San Diego State earning her BA in Child Development and Family Studies. She is working to earn a Masters in Education with an emphasis on Social Emotional Learning at National University.
She joins e3 with over ten years experience working locally in both the general and Special Education classrooms. Andrea loves working with children because they are authentic. She appreciates their honesty, joy for life, and their vitality for the present moment. When teaching, she enjoys the priceless moments when she helps children discover their highest potential.
Andrea is a proud mother to two boys, who are off to college. When she’s not teaching, Andrea loves yoga and its studies, reading, traveling, exercising, movies, live music, being in nature, and new experiences.

Annica is a warm and dedicated educator originally from Minnesota, where she grew up in a creative family of teachers who nurtured her love for learning and inspired her path into education. From an early age, Annica found joy in working with children, whether helping in her mother’s classroom, tutoring younger students, or caring for little ones as a nanny. She began her college journey studying civil engineering at the University of Wisconsin–Madison, but soon realized that her heart belonged in the classroom. She went on to earn a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education with a concentration in math and science, combining her analytical strengths with her love for teaching.
Annica brings a range of experience to her work, from teaching in elementary classrooms to mentoring high school students. She values the opportunity to work with learners from all walks of life and is passionate about creating safe, encouraging spaces where students feel seen, supported, and excited to learn.
In 2025, Annica made the move to San Diego and was thrilled to join the e3 team. She is committed to building strong, meaningful relationships with students and families and providing personalized one-on-one support that empowers each learner to grow and succeed. Outside of teaching, Annica enjoys reading, attending fitness classes, watercolor painting, spending time with family and friends, and exploring the outdoors.

Brianna was born and raised in San Diego and attended California State San Marcos University and National University earning several credentials. She holds a multiple subject credential for K-6th grade, a special education mild/moderate credential, special education preschool credential, as well as a Master’s degree in special education.
Over the last 12 years Brianna has dedicated her life to providing a balanced, evidence based and supportive learning environment for her students and has taught TK-12th grade in both public and charter schools. This experience has shown her that she enjoys working with children of all ages, levels, and abilities. When asked which grade level she prefers, she said she truly couldn’t pick one. She values building strong relationships with her students and enjoys finding ways to motivate and encourage each child to reach their full potential.
Brianna is happy to be joining the e3 team where she can continue to educate, motivate and encourage children. She believes a happy and confident student will strive to learn. In her freetime she enjoys spending time on the beach and taking long walks with her two young children. Connecting with her community and participating in local events to foster community awareness with her family is important to her.

Jackie was born and raised in New Canaan, Connecticut. Her educational journey began at Trinity College, where she pursued a double major in Educational and Human Rights Studies. It was during her time at Trinity where she found her passion for education. She delved into research encompassing a wide variety of topics, including immigrants and education, educational policies, the school-to-prison pipeline, and the intersection of race and class in education.
During her undergraduate years, Jackie actively engaged in the community by tutoring at middle schools and high schools in Hartford, CT. She completed an internship where she developed and taught a current events curriculum to rising 7th-9th grade students. After graduating from Trinity College, Jackie joined Teach for America and furthered her education in Boston, Massachusetts, earning a master's degree in education from Boston University. While obtaining her master's, she served as a 3rd-grade special education teacher, providing tailored support to students based on their IEPs.
Upon relocating to New York City, Jackie transitioned into the role of a 3rd grade lead teacher, continuing her dedication to fostering student growth and success. In 2024, Jackie made the move to San Diego and eagerly joined the E3 team! She is enthusiastic about offering personalized 1:1 support to students, aligning with their needs and aspirations. Outside of work, Jackie enjoys staying active through activities like spin, yoga, and pilates, as well as spending quality time outdoors with her dog, Toby!

Julie has lived, taught, and raised her children locally. She earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work at Southern Connecticut State College and a Master of Arts in Early Childhood Education and Teaching Credential at National University. Julie is a seasoned educator with over thirty years of teaching experience. She was a well-loved Kindergarten teacher at The Rhoades School before joining the e3 team.
Julie has extensive knowledge in promoting social and emotional learning. This passion led her and her long-time teaching partner to write a children’s book, Rexy and the Four Steps to Friendship. Julie believes that each child thinks differently and sees it as her responsibility to help students adapt to their unique cognitive and emotional learning styles. She thrives on creating new ways for students to understand how "they learn and think." She is highly intuitive to the needs of each of her students and can view things from their perspective. She has a talent for developing individualized lesson plans while cultivating an atmosphere of progress and positivity. She is committed to comprehensive academic growth fostering the enjoyment of learning and thinking.
With energy to spare, Julie spends time with her three beloved grandchildren, family, friends, and her poodle, Murphy. She also enjoys cooking and creating art projects. Julie is excited to be a part of the e3 Consulting team where she can provide a social-emotional emphasis on learning, build confidence, and nurture curiosity and creativity in students and parents.

Lacy's journey toward a career in education began in high school, where she tutored K-12 students in math and reading at a private learning center. While earning her Bachelor's Degree in Psychology at San Diego State University, she tutored student-athlete peers, guiding them to balance their academic goals with athletic commitments. She went on to earn her Master's Degree in School Counseling from Sonoma State University. Before joining e3, Lacy was a high school counselor supporting students academically, personally, and with college and career planning.
Lacy's expertise lies in providing a nurturing and engaging environment that encourages students to embrace challenges, build confidence, and achieve their goals. She values developing strong relationships with students of diverse backgrounds and abilities and helping them create personalized strategies for success.
In her free time, you can find Lacy with her nose in a book, enjoying the latest culinary hotspots, exploring the great outdoors with her husband and dog, or jet-setting to new destinations. After living in Sacramento for quite some time, Lacy is thrilled to return to San Diego and help students unlock their full potential at e3!
Lauren Tomasi

LAUREN TOMASI

Lauren is a San Diego native with a love for mathematics and a strong commitment to building meaningful connections within her community. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from the University of California, Riverside, and her Associate of Science in Computer Science from San Diego Miramar College, developing a solid foundation in mathematical reasoning and analytical thinking.
Through her work as a tutor and dancer, Lauren collaborated closely with students and peers, finding deep fulfillment in supporting others as they built confidence and worked through challenging material. Although she enjoyed her internships in mobile application development and test automation, she missed the sense of connection and immediate impact that comes from working directly with students. By the time she graduated, her desire to teach had been clearly reaffirmed.
Lauren is especially passionate about supporting middle school through college-aged students as they develop mathematical reasoning, persistence, and confidence. She approaches difficult problems with gentle curiosity rather than frustration and hopes to inspire her students to do the same. When she’s not teaching, Lauren can often be found lost in a web novel, curating the perfect playlist, or diving deep down a YouTube rabbit hole.

Teri is an enthusiastic educator and lifelong learner with a deep passion for STEAM education. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Bioengineering from the University of California, Riverside, and later earned her Multiple Subject Teaching Credential and Master’s in Education from Alliant International University. Teri brings a unique perspective to e3, drawing from her diverse experience in scientific fields ranging from forensic labs to engineering project management teams.
She has taught in both public and private school settings, with a focus on math and science instruction for elementary and middle school students. Teri especially loves designing project-based learning experiences, incorporating logic puzzles, creative arts activities, and engaging book discussions into her teaching. She believes learning should be both playful and structured, with a healthy balance of support and independence.
Outside the classroom, you’ll often find Teri reading fantasy and sci-fi novels, trying out new sports and hobbies, or painting with oil pastels. At home, she shares her space with a small “farm” consisting of two cats, two frogs, and a crested gecko.
Wendi Bremermann

WENDI BREMERMANN

Wendi Bremermann is an enthusiastic and dedicated educator who has devoted her life to promoting a love for learning in her students. From a young age, she knew that teaching was her true calling, and her 25 years as a classroom teacher have only strengthened her passion for education. Wendi received her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology with a minor in Social Work from Colorado State University. After college, she came to San Diego and obtained certification in Montessori education, embracing its child-centered and hands-on approach to learning. She believes a solid foundation in reading is an important key to a lifetime of successful learning. This led her to receive specialized reading intervention training which creates individualized programs for students and allows them to reach their true potential.. She strives to create a unique and nurturing approach that empowers her students. When she is not teaching, you will find her at the beach with her dogs and family, hiking, or enjoying time with family and friends.
Wendi is excited to be a part of the e3 Consulting team. Her commitment to tailoring instruction that is centered around identifying and encouraging her students’ strengths is a perfect fit for her role with e3. The joy of seeing a student succeed and become more confident is a true gift!
